Work Groups

Our work is built on the belief that we achieve more together. To turn strategy into action, we convene dedicated work groups that bring together community leaders, funders, journalists, and policy experts. These groups are where our partners align strategies, share expertise, and build the shared infrastructure that makes Colorado’s entire local news ecosystem more resilient and responsive to the communities it serves.

This coalition advocates for public funding to support trusted local news and information in Colorado. Guided by a Steering Committee and a commitment to nonpartisan, content-neutral principles, the coalition works to secure new, sustainable resources that strengthen local reporting. This work is essential to ensuring every community, particularly those traditionally underserved, has access to the fact-based, local coverage they need to stay engaged and informed.
